I fell in love with Kharkiv at first sight. For the first time I had the pleasure of visiting it in 2016. Back then I was invited there with a performance by wonderful people, true music lovers and extraordinary personalities. Since then, I have always been lucky with the people of Kharkiv: the people I met and were closely connected with this city always have some very strong and extraordinary individuality, sophisticated taste and decency in relationships. Back then, in 2016, I was amazed by the amount of light in Kharkiv in the evening. it seemed to me at the time that this was perhaps the most illuminated Ukrainian city I've been to. And this light perfectly emphasized the eclectic and majestic architecture of the city. As if speaking of calm self-confidence. that confidence that understands and accepts both its flaws and its strengths, without hiding either. Now these words about light can easily be turned into a metaphor for the people who illuminate this Kharkiv by themselves. No war and no destruction can extinguish this light. This composition is about that unique and original light that is so characteristic of Kharkiv and its bright people.
